Street price of cannabis (Europe)

European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA) · 2002 to 2024

What a gram costs on the street says how available cannabis is despite the law. The European Union Drugs Agency collects the mean retail price of herb and resin from police purchases, seizures and surveys in each country.[1] Among 29 countries the median is about €10 a gram; the highest recent prices are in Norway, Malta and Cyprus, the lowest in Croatia, at about €3.

Dutch prices are for cannabis bought in coffeeshops, not on the street, and prices are not adjusted for inflation.[1] The price chart follows each country since 2002, and the chart of THC per euro combines price with potency. What is counted, and how the file was made

The mean retail price of a gram of cannabis herb and of cannabis resin, in euros, as each country reports it to the EUDA from police purchases, seizures or surveys. Where a country reports several studies in a year, their means are averaged. The EUDA notes that Dutch prices are for cannabis bought anonymously in coffeeshops, not on the street, and that Türkiye reports one price for herb and resin together and is excluded from these separate product series. Prices are not adjusted for inflation.

The EUDA's site refuses scripted downloads, so both tables were read in a browser on 21 October 2026 from its data service, sent compressed and saved unchanged; each file's SHA-256 matches the browser's copy. scripts/extract-euda.py (prices) turns them into one row per country and year, excluding Türkiye’s inseparable herb/resin figures.

The file belongs to EUDA and keeps its terms; cite the publisher when you use it.
