A decree of 19 January 2026 added HHC, a semi-synthetic cannabinoid sold in the gaps of the law, to List I of the Opium Act, the list for drugs with unacceptable risks, following UN decisions of 2024 and 2025.[1][2] It took effect the day after its publication in the Staatsblad.[1]
