The Geneva narcotics convention brings Indian hemp into the licensing system

The Geneva Convention for Limiting the Manufacture and Regulating the Distribution of Narcotic Drugs brought Indian hemp and its extracts and tinctures into the import-authorisation system. Nauru's 1952 Dangerous Drugs Ordinance was expressly made to implement this convention. The convention was treaty background, not a separate territorial law.[1]
