Police broke up a hashish network holding 145 kilograms of resin and arrested a female suspect, then searched the cell of a non-Kuwaiti inmate who ran the gang from Central Prison. Another accomplice was at large outside Kuwait. The case showed that prison-based dealers can direct smuggling networks beyond the walls.[1]
