Customs and drug-control officers stopped a Kuwaiti citizen returning from Iran on the Shuwaikh ferry and found more than 100 kilograms of hashish and marijuana in hidden compartments in his car. The case pointed to Iran as a source of resin shipped across the Gulf. The suspect was referred to the narcotics prosecution.[1]
