The 2024 drug situation report recorded 37,000 drug crime cases, 62,000 suspects and 26.7 tonnes of drugs seized, with 193,000 users handled. It said cannabis and ketamine use both fell, without giving a cannabis total, and reported 2.26 tonnes of heroin, ketamine and cannabis taken from the Gulf of Thailand smuggling route. The report gives no cannabis-specific seizure figure.[1]
