Bahrain seizes more than 100 kg of cannabis from Iran

The Interior Ministry said on 11 April 2026 that anti-narcotics officers had seized more than 100 kg of marijuana and hashish worth about BHD1.5 million and arrested three men. The drugs came from Iran through dead drops and were moved in two boats; cash, smuggling equipment and the boats were seized, and the case went to the Public Prosecution. The ministry said the consignments were sold and distributed in Bahrain in the same way.[1][2]
