At a 22 December 2025 inter-agency meeting, police reported 21,998 drug cases and 44,354 suspects for 2025. Seizures included 276 kg of heroin, nearly 1.3 tonnes of cannabis, and 4.4 tonnes plus nearly 2.1 million pills of synthetic drugs. The case and suspect figures cover all drugs; the cannabis figure is a seizure total. Police said synthetic-drug production and new psychoactive substances were multiplying, making control harder.[1]
