The Agency for Control of Narcotics and Firearms reported 15,400 drug crimes and 1,956 administrative drug offences in 2025, with more than 11,000 people prosecuted. Police seized 3.4 tonnes of drugs, 48% of it hashish and 27% opium, and found 14 underground laboratories. Personal possession made up 41% of offences, trafficking 36% and cultivation 13%; 53% of cases were in Tashkent city, Tashkent region and Fergana.[1]
