The Interior Ministry said counter-narcotics officers found a 2,700-kilogram cannabis shipment in Chinaratu district of Uruzgan province and destroyed it by burning. In the same announcement it reported 37 kilograms of opium seized in Farah and four arrests there. The Uruzgan haul was the largest cannabis seizure reported in the period reviewed.[1]
