A federal judge lets the Santa Cruz collective grow again

Judge Jeremy Fogel of the federal court in San Jose barred the Justice Department from interfering with the Wo/Men's Alliance for Medical Marijuana while its lawsuit was pending, so that it could cultivate and distribute cannabis to its patients again. He relied on the Ninth Circuit's December 2003 ruling in Raich v. Ashcroft, which the Supreme Court reversed the following year.[1]
