Georgia widened its medical programme beyond low-THC oil to tinctures, patches, capsules and other approved products, including flower for vaporization. Registered patients and caregivers may possess up to 12,000 mg THC in labelled pharmaceutical packaging, with a 1,200 mg limit per package; smoking remains prohibited.[1] The law took effect on 1 July after the governor signed it on 12 May.[2] Vaporization remains prohibited for patients aged 21 or younger.[3]
