Jandarma teams raided 35 illegal cannabis plots in Yenişehir, Eğil and Sur with 230 personnel and drones, destroying 48,579 cannabis and skunk plants. The Interior Ministry said the plants could have produced 1.2 tonnes of hashish, and officers seized 36 kg of hashish. The operation was part of the national action plan against illegal cannabis cultivation.[1]
