Cannabis reform supporters held the seventh Green Wave rally outside the Legislative Yuan on 19 April 2025. They asked the government to drop cannabis from anti-drug campaigns, raise the THC limit and align its rules with international agreements. The Ministry of Justice said possession and use would stay illegal and described cannabis as a Category 2 narcotic.[1]
