The food and drug ministry confirmed it had stopped a 2022 regulatory innovation task that would have allowed broader manufacturing and import of cannabis medicines beyond the narrow patient-by-patient route. It said rising drug arrests made wider access a bad signal. Patients remained dependent on imported Epidiolex through the Korea Orphan and Essential Drug Center.[1]
