Hemp 🇵🇬 Papua New Guinea

A PNG governor calls for a hemp industry

East Sepik governor Allan Bird used a Port Moresby start-up convention to argue that Papua New Guinea should legalise industrial hemp, saying the global market was growing and that he was discussing legislation with government departments. He also said marijuana was becoming legal in most countries and was the fastest-growing business. No law changed at the time and cannabis remained illegal.[1][2]
