CBD pharmaceutical products came under prescription-only medicine controls, with supply through authorised practitioners or a pharmacy dispensing a prescription.[1] The government’s later legislative brief recorded 13 December 2019 as the start date and said no CBD pharmaceutical product had been registered in Hong Kong by October 2022.[1]
