Morocco's elite police seize 16 tonnes of hashish on the Atlantic coast

The Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations broke up a network that was using beaches near Casablanca to load hashish onto inflatable boats. Officers seized 16 tonnes of resin, six boats and eight engines in raids in Kenitra and Casablanca, and arrested eight people including two women. The operation was based on intelligence from the DGST. It was a major seizure in a year of intensive interdiction.[1]
