By September 2026 prosecutors had charged 398 people under the Criminal Code's drug articles and sent 184 cases involving 270 people to court, 33 per cent more than a year earlier. Just over half of the accused were aged 18 to 30, 44 per cent were 31 to 44, and 15 per cent were women. The figures cover offences under Articles 20.7 and 20.8, not cannabis alone.[1]
