Debate 🇭🇷 Croatia

Croatia's government proposes the 'practical decriminalisation of light drugs'

Guidelines for a new criminal code said that Croatian law punished possession for personal use more strictly than any of the laws it had been compared with, and suggested milder penalties, wider powers for prosecutors to drop small cases, or community service. The prime minister, Jadranka Kosor, and her party had repeatedly said they were against decriminalising drugs. The code that followed took effect in 2013.[1]
