The Comoros penal code punishes narcotics, hashish and Indian hemp by name
Article 328 of the Penal Code (Act 95-012/AF, adopted in sessions of 1981, 1982 and 18 September 1995) punishes growing, buying, importing, processing, transporting, distributing even for free, or selling narcotics, "particularly the hashish or Indian hemp", with one to ten years and a fine of 1,000,000 to 50,000,000 francs.
