Assassin of Youth, directed by Elmer Clifton for BCM Roadshow Productions, borrowed its title from Anslinger's magazine article of the same year.[1] A reporter goes undercover among teenage marijuana smokers while a young heiress is framed by a rival for her inheritance.[1][2] It is often called a copy of Reefer Madness and shares one of its actresses, Dorothy Short.[1]
