Index score

98

−1 point

The new Penal Code, Law 5237, replaced the 1926 code and made selling, giving, transporting, storing or possessing drugs for supply an offence carrying at least ten years and a judicial fine. The article does not distinguish a gift from a sale. Personal use stayed under Article 191 with a lower range. The code took effect on 1 June 2005.[1]
