Tajikistan raids market stalls over cannabis-leaf clothes and a rap song

In July 2021 the Drug Control Agency checked markets in Dushanbe and Yavan and seized 239 sports outfits and 530 caps bearing cannabis-leaf images in Dushanbe, plus 21 outfits in Yavan. It opened administrative cases against two rappers for a song called «Каннабис и марихуана», citing the drug-propaganda article of the Administrative Code. The traders and singers faced fines of 10–20 calculation units.[1]
