Tightening 🇹🇼 Taiwan

Taiwan makes its largest cannabis seizure as the rally grows

Police in Taoyuan seized more than 4,000 plants, valued at 1.26 billion Taiwan dollars. Two years earlier a senior justice official had said Taiwan must declare war on marijuana, and the ministry said it firmly opposed decriminalisation. That April the Taipei rally drew thousands, watched by at least a hundred officers. Use carries up to three years in prison.[1]
