US Virgin Islands tell cannabis users to wait for implementing rules

Government House said cannabis use and sales remained prohibited while officials prepared the regulations for the January law.[1] It reiterated a $100 fine for possession up to an ounce and said that public use, federal facilities and personal transport between islands would remain restricted after implementation.[1] The signed law had already set out adult possession limits and the licensing system.[2]
