US Virgin Islands ask people with cannabis convictions to seek record relief

Government House asked people convicted in cases involving two ounces or less of cannabis to come forward for potential expungement.[1] It said gaps in judicial data complicated the automatic process and identified Positive Nelson as head of the task force.[1] Earlier that year, Governor Bryan had announced possession pardons and explained that clearing a conviction from the record required expungement.[2]
