Law 25 converts Decree-Law 5 of 18 May 1984 on drug offences into law. It is dated 24 June and published in the Official Gazette of 19 July 1984; article 2 provides that this conversion law takes effect fifteen days after publication. This should be distinguished from the decree’s own signature-date commencement provision.[1]
