Government Resolution 101 of 6 February allowed registered varieties of hemp to be grown for industry if the leaves and flowering tops hold no more than 0.1% THC, and barred seed of the fourth and later generations. It replaced a 2007 resolution on hemp varieties. For medicine it allowed the opium poppy, not cannabis. The hemp area had grown to 10,200 hectares in 2019.[1][2][3]
