Tightening 🇷🇺 Russia

Russia rewrites possession, hemp-growing and compulsory-treatment rules

The Russian republic implemented the Union drug decree through its own criminal and health laws.[1] Personal drug possession carried up to three years or one year of corrective labour; named prohibited hemp varieties carried up to five years for cultivation, with higher repeat-offence bands.[1] Health-law amendments also allowed a court to order six months to two years in a treatment-and-labour institution for drug-dependent people evading treatment.[1]
