Poland allows state institutes to grow medical cannabis

An amendment passed on 24 March 2022 let research institutes supervised by the agriculture minister grow cannabis and harvest herb and resin as pharmaceutical raw material, under a permit from the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector valid for up to five years and with each plant tracked. Nobody else may grow it. The same act defined fibre hemp as plants with no more than 0.3% of THC and THCA together.[1]
