UN rescheduling leaves Philippine cannabis law unchanged
The Dangerous Drugs Board and PDEA said the UN's recognition of cannabis's potential medical value had no immediate domestic effect. Cannabis remained a dangerous drug under Republic Act 9165, and cultivation, possession, use and supply remained punishable.
