The Philippines explicitly criminalises marijuana possession and use
Republic Act 2060 added Indian hemp, including marijuana, hashish and resin, to Article 190 of the Revised Penal Code. Unauthorised possession, preparation, administration or use now carried imprisonment as a prohibited-drug offence.
