Gaza's Grand Criminal Court sentenced a man to death by hanging for possessing hashish and 'happy pills' with intent to traffic, a repeat offence. SHAMS said the PA's 2018 drug law did not provide death; PCHR later said Gaza's 2013 law did. It was the first death sentence by that court in a drug case.[1][2][3]
