Gaza's Supreme Criminal Chamber sentenced a 30-year-old man to death by hanging for possessing and trafficking narcotics to Israel. PCHR called it the first death sentence of 2023 and said the number issued since 1994 had reached 281, including 251 in Gaza.[1][2]
