Debate 🇰🇬 Kyrgyzstan

An MP asks Kyrgyzstan to stop burning wild cannabis and make medicine

At a parliamentary session on 2 November 2023, MP Dinara Ashimova proposed using the country's wild cannabis to make medicines and oils instead of burning it. She cited Poland and Ukraine, saying that sowing different varieties together makes the plant lose its psychoactive properties, and asked the health minister to consider a project. No bill followed and medical cannabis stayed prohibited.[1]
