Israel's trade commissioner named four Canadian companies as the subjects of a renewed anti-dumping investigation into medical cannabis imports on 22 October 2026. The inquiry covers GrowCo, Cielo Verde Quebec, 2323414 Alberta and Koots Canna, which together account for about 70% of Canadian cannabis exports to Israel. It restarted in August after an earlier 2026 probe was closed over a procedural error, and follows a 2024 investigation whose recommended tariffs the finance minister rejected in 2025. No duty has been imposed; the companies had five business days to comment on the sample.[1]
