A committee led by Dr Gilad Bodenheimer recommended phasing out smoked medical cannabis within three years, starting new patients on oils or inhalers, moving prescribing and monitoring to the health funds, and tightening PTSD treatment. It found 87–98% of patients smoked, 88% of licences were for high-THC products, and 62% used more than 30 g a month.[1][2]
