The government specified 1 kg and 20 kg as the small- and commercial-quantity cutoffs for ganja, and 100 g and 1 kg for cannabis resin.[1] Under the amended definitions, a small quantity is less than the specified small cutoff and a commercial quantity is greater than its cutoff.[2] The notification supplied the figures used by the three sentencing bands introduced earlier in October.[1][2]
