A Caribbean commission calls for an end to cannabis prohibition
After four years of consultations across the region, the CARICOM Regional Commission on Marijuana concluded that the existing laws were ineffective and unjust and recommended that member states treat cannabis like alcohol or tobacco. Most of the Caribbean reforms of the following years cite it.
