Bechuanaland restricts habit-forming drugs
The Opium and Habit-forming Drugs Regulation Proclamation restricted the import, export, production and use of habit-forming drugs in the Bechuanaland Protectorate, on the same day as the matching law in Swaziland and in the year South Africa prohibited dagga.
