Deputy interior minister Ramazon Ashropov said police seized 2.7 tonnes of drugs and more than 2.65 million potent medicines in January–June 2026 and opened 8,653 drug cases. Synthetic drugs accounted for more than 52 kg of the haul. The figures cover all drugs and do not separate cannabis.[1]
