Debate 🇰🇷 South Korea

South Korea's drug regulator says it is reviewing wider medical CBD use

At a National Assembly audit, food and drug safety commissioner Oh Yu-kyung said the agency was reviewing an expansion of medical CBD for rare and essential diseases, while food and cosmetics uses needed more consideration. The remark followed 2026 bills to allow domestic CBD production and pressure on the imported supply of Epidiolex. No rule had changed by 28 October 2026.[1]
