Singapore adds capital thresholds for cannabis
The mandatory death penalty was extended to trafficking, importing or exporting more than 500 g of cannabis or 200 g of cannabis resin. This is when the present 500 g cannabis threshold entered the law, not with the first capital-drug provisions in 1975.
