Rwanda’s development board reported that off-site infrastructure for the Musanze cannabis project was 83% complete, with double fencing still outstanding, according to reporting on 15 May 2025. The public infrastructure project had spent over one billion of its 2.2 billion francs allocated for 2024/2025. The licensed producer’s planned launch had already been delayed, as the country worked to develop cannabis-oil production aimed mainly at export.[1]
