Hemp 🇲🇽 Mexico

Mexico's Supreme Court allows one firm to grow hemp

The court granted Desart MX, a subsidiary of Canada's Xebra Brands, the right to sow, grow and harvest cannabis with 1% THC or less, finding that the ban restricted freedom of trade without being needed to protect health. The ruling covered only that company. The health regulator issued the permit in March 2023 under a court order, saying it would keep contesting it.[1]
