Enforcement 🇲🇱 Mali

A Moroccan resin route through Mali is identified

In early 2007 a route for smuggling cannabis resin from Morocco through Mauritania, Mali, Niger and Chad and on into either Egypt or Sudan was identified.[1] A total of 5.7 tons of cannabis resin was seized in five seizures in Niger in the 2006–2007 period.[1] The case put Mali on a trans-Saharan trafficking map linking Moroccan resin to markets further east.[1]
