Laos moves its narcotics list toward a National Assembly resolution

The Ministry of Public Security proposed elevating Decision 87/PM of 29 July 2026, which lists prohibited narcotics and controlled chemicals, to a National Assembly resolution. Cannabis was already prohibited and the proposal did not change its status. It was a procedural move to give the list stronger legal force.[1]

Listed for context. No score change is recorded for Laos here.
