Debate 🇮🇪 Ireland

Ireland expects its medical-cannabis access review to take about a year

In a written parliamentary answer, the Health Minister said the review was expected to take roughly twelve months from its first meeting on 27 May 2026. It will examine the Medical Cannabis Access Programme, possible additional conditions where evidence supports them, and individual ministerial licences. The answer reports a review timetable, not an adopted expansion of access.[1]
