Italy's Constitutional Court limits what regions can do on cannabinoid medicines

The court struck down the parts of Liguria's law on cannabinoid medicines that dealt with prescribing and production agreements, because those are matters for national medicines rules. It upheld Veneto's plan for pilot production projects, since they still needed national authorisation. Regions could organise access to these medicines, but only within national law.[1][2]
